It's Show Time: What You Need to Know Before You Go

The day has come! The Calgary Home + Garden Show returns to the BMO Centre, at Stampede Park Thursday, February 27 until Sunday, March 1. Catch HGTV Canada’s Bryan Baeumler of Island of Bryan presented by RBC, reveal his top home improvement tips to refresh an old project or master a new build. Accompanying the amazing industry experts are over 550 home and garden exhibitors who have the products, services and expertise so the Calgary Home + Garden Show will be the only stop on your list this year for every home improvement project you have coming your way.

We want you to see and experience it all, so we created a list of our favourite stops and Show features to make sure they make it onto your Home + Garden checklist. Don’t worry we will be posting it to our Instagram for you to use so you can show everyone you completed the list! We also put in a few little reminders to make your Show experience the best it can be so be sure to read below to make the most of your visit to the Calgary Home + Garden Show from start to finish.

Park It - Get In Early to Save

The Avanica Home + Garden Stage presented by HGTV Canada, Golden Acre, and The Calgary Herald is packed full of presentations by industry experts! Get home renovation advice straight from celebrity contractor on HGTV Canada Bryan Bauemler star of hit show Island of Bryan. We have local experts like author and sustainability advocate, Janet Melrose who will share her journey and how you can use gardening to improve your health, happiness and sustenance. The amazing Becky Feasby owner of Prairie Girl Flowers, chats sustainability for flowers. She only creates beautiful blooms from locally sourced flowers and educates other wholesalers how they can too! We have soil experts and contractors to let you in on the must-know tips, so be sure to check the full stage schedule here.

Work(shop) Series by SAIT

Want to get your hands dirty while you’re at the show? This series has a number of technical workshops on a number of different categories. Try your hand at floral arrangements with Prairie Girl Flowers. Give furniture refinishing a shot with Two Queens, so you can spice up an old piece and transform your space.
