What a weekend! Thanks to everyone who joined us at the 2016 Calgary Home + Garden Show and helped support this great event. From the celebrity presentations to the food truck rally, and of course all of our wonderful exhibitors, this was one of our best shows ever!
Weren't able to make it to BMO Centre and Corral February 25-28? Don't worry, we can help catch you up! It was hard, but we were able to narrow down our top four moments from the show. Check 'em out below and get up to speed on this fabulous affair.
4. Ultimate Upcycle Challenge: Planted
We tasked local tastemakers, trendsetters, and bloggers with transforming rescued items from ReStore Calgary into unique planters. Made using supplies from Rust-Oleum Consumer Brands Canada, these one-of-a-kind pots were put up for silent auction with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta.
3. Food Truck Rally
Attendees were able to score top-notch eats from some of Calgary's best rolling restaurants, including Fiasco Gelato, all weekend long. The Food Truck Lounge was the perfect spot to take a break from shopping the show and enjoy a delicious variety of tasty treats. Yum!
2. Revolve Home
The Revolve Home, presented by Calgary's Revolve Furnishings & CREB Now, definitely took the cake. Boasting 1,000 square-feet of the latest home trends and technology, including jaw-dropping modern fixtures, furniture, accessories, and lighting, design, it was full of inspiration and ideas every homeowner could tackle.
1. Celebrity Presentations
The 2016 Calgary Home + Garden Show was an all-star event. Our Main Stage was taken over by André Chevigny, Carson Arthur, Leigh-Ann Allaire Perrault, Amanda Forrest, Donna Balzer, Denise Wild, Sharon McCormick, and more! With experts sharing tons of tips, advice and ideas on all things home-related, attendees definitely learned a lot.
